Act-On Software Reports 405% Revenue Growth; Expands International Footprint

Act-On Software, a provider of marketing automation technology, announced record results for Q4 2011. Act-On reported 171 new customers in the quarter, and a 405% increase year-over-year in annual recurring revenues.
Headquartered in Beaverton, OR, Act-On said it increased its employee count by more than 600% year-over-year, to continue technology innovation and accommodate its commitment to customer support.
“This has been a breakout year for us,” said Raghu Raghavan, Founder and CEO of Act-On Software. “These fantastic results validate our unique approach to marketing automation, and our single-minded focus on delivering the experience that marketers really need. We are now widely recognized as one of the leaders within the marketing automation industry.”
Act-On also opened an office in Bangalore, India. Located in Manipal Centre, the new office will support Act-On’s international business in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
In November 2011, the company made the 2011 Silicon India si100 list, which recognizes the top 100 technology companies founded and managed by lndians in the U.S. In addition, Act-On was named one of the Top 10 Enterprise Software companies by Silicon India.
In December 2011, Raghavan and Shawn Naggiar, Act-On’s Chief Revenue Officer, were named to the Sales Lead Management Association's 2011"50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management" list.
Also in December 2011, Act-On joined the Marketing Automation Institute’s Vendor Council. As a member, Act-On will work with the MAI Executive Council to help define the future of marketing automation and address current issues facing the industry.
