The Marketing Automation Institute (MAI), a vendor-neutral marketing automation certification organization, and the Online Marketing Institute (OMI), a provider of digital marketing training education, announced a strategic partnership to offer bundled curriculum and certification, online learning and other educational offerings to better serve the fast-growing market.
The goal of the partnership is to further promote education in marketing, whether it is traditional online marketing subjects, including demand generation, social, mobile, digital and marketing automation.
“For the B2B marketer it always comes down to time and budget [as the primary challenges],” said Aaron Khalow, Founder & CEO, Online Marketing Institute. “Most are simply over worked and becomes a real mental challenge to step back and look at the big picture and prioritize first things first, which is education. We get caught ‘doing’ too much and not learning what is the best thing to do, let alone how to do it.”
The first course, Marketing Automation Crash Course: A B2B Roadmap for Driving Leads to Revenue, will launch Tuesday, June 11. Additionally, the two organizations will integrate their certification programs, monthly webinars and team training, which will be conducted both in house and via custom created eLearning content. The OMI has trained more than 4,000 students globally, from Fortune 100 to small digital agencies, and the MAI has more than 150 members.
“This partnership enables marketers of any discipline to go to one source for their educational needs,” said Carlos Hidalgo, Executive Director of the MAI. “Joining forces with OMI helps provide the best and most cutting-edge content, certification, events and online community to our customers, partners and marketers worldwide.”
